New Braunfels Utilities Announces Public Hearing on Impact Fees

Public Hearing Set for October 24, 2022

(New Braunfels, TX, September 15, 2022) – New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) announces that the Public Hearing to consider the update of water and wastewater impact fees will be heldon October 24, 2022, at the New Braunfels City Council Chambers, located at 550 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Texas, at 6:00 p.m.

The public hearing allows City Council to consider the revised water and wastewater impact fees that would be charged to new or expanded water and wastewater service within the corporate limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction of New Braunfels, Texas, and other new customers served by contract with NBU. 

These fees will not apply to existing NBU customers who do not request an expansion of service through larger meters, extended or larger diameter lines, etc., or to properties that do not receive water or sewer service from NBU.

Copies of the capital improvements plans and potential impact fee schedules are available at the offices of NBU, 263 Main Plaza, New Braunfels, Texas, and online at nbutexas.com/developer-driven-projects.

Any member of the public has the right to appear at the hearing and present evidence for or against the update.
