(New Braunfels, TX – November 28, 2022) – All New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) offices and drive-through will close at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, for the Downtown New Braunfels Wassailfest event.
Several street closures around downtown New Braunfels, including the Main Plaza, will affect driving routes throughout the day. East San Antonio Street from Comal Avenue to Union Street will be closed beginning at 10:00 a.m. At 4:00 p.m., several other road closures will begin, including:
- All of Main Plaza
- Seguin Avenue (from Mill Street to Coll Street)
- San Antonio Street (from Comal Avenue to Hill Avenue)
- Castell Avenue (from Mill Street to the alley behind the Antique Mall)
Drivers must remove their vehicles from these areas before 4:00 p.m.
Customers needing to report an outage or service issue may call NBU’s 24-hour Control Center at 830.629.4628 (4NBU). The Texting Outage Notification System is an added convenience that allows customers enrolled in the program to report outages and receive notifications about outages in their area by text message.
