Superior Water Quality Rating
(New Braunfels, TX – June 21, 2023) The annual New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) Consumer Confidence Report, referred to as the Water Quality Report, is now available to review online at nbutexas.com/water-quality-report.
Knowing that your water is safe to drink and what is in the water is important to everyone. New Braunfels Utilities prepares this report annually for its customers as mandated by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The report summarizes the results of NBU’s water monitoring program as required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from January 1 through December 31, yearly. New Braunfels Utilities’ Water Quality Report provides its customers with this vital information. Still, more importantly, it assures that the water NBU supplies is regulated and continues to meet or exceed all federal and state drinking water requirements.
New Braunfels Utilities has once again met and surpassed all state and federal drinking water standards, earning the Superior water rating by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Unless otherwise indicated, the information in the report is based on tests conducted in 2022.
Customers with questions regarding the report or who would like to request a paper report may call 830.629.8400.
