Road Closure on a Section of East San Antonio Street Expected to be Completed on Friday, October 6, 2023

(New Braunfels, TX – October 3, 2023) – New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) is taking the opportunity of an existing construction closure to upgrade a section of wastewater infrastructure on East San Antonio Street with expected completion on Friday, October 6, 2023. Daily closures will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The 100 block of East San Antonio Street will be closed to the public to maneuver equipment, materials, and crews safely.

Vehicular traffic should expect barriers and posted detour routes on Comal Avenue. Traffic will be detoured from East San Antonio Street, to Comal Avenue, to Tolle Street, to Gilbert Avenue, and back on to East San Antonio Street. 

All work is expected to be completed as scheduled, weather permitting.
