NBU Announces Early Office Closure for Employee Meeting and Holiday Closure for Founder’s Day in April

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (March 31, 2025) – New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) will adjust its office hours in April due to an employee meeting and the observance of Founder’s Day.

On Thursday, April 10, 2025, NBU offices will close at 4 p.m. for an employee meeting. Normal business hours will resume on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 8 a.m.

NBU offices will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025, in observance of Founder’s Day and will re-open Monday, April 21, 2025, at 8 a.m.

For outage reporting, customers can contact he 24-hour Control Center at 830.629.4628 (4NBU) or view real-time electric and water outages in the service area by visiting https://www.nbutexas.com/outages/.

Customers can make payments via the following convenient options:

  1. Online: nbutexas.com.
  2. Pay-by-Phone: 844.863.7360.
  3. NBU drop box: NBU Customer Solutions Center, 1488 S. Seguin Ave.
  4. Western Union Convenience Pay: Available at HEB Grocery Stores in Comal County or Arlan’s Market and Ace Cash Express in New Braunfels.
