Open positions are normally posted until filled. Every effort to expedite the hiring process is made, but there is no set time to fill positions. NBU reserves the right to reopen the recruitment process on any position.
Applications and resumes are screened for minimal qualifications, and then sent to the department manager or supervisor for review. Once the hiring manager or supervisor has reviewed and selected applicants, Human Resources or a representative from the department will contact the applicants to set up an interview. From the first interviews, final candidates are typically selected for a second round interview; one with the hiring manager and supervisor and a second with Human Resources. Once all interviews are conducted, a contingent offer of employment is extended to the applicant of choice and a background check and physical are conducted. Drug screens are conducted on positions that require a CDL. Regret letters are sent to all other applicants who were interviewed but not selected.
