New Braunfels Utilities Offices Delayed Opening Due to Winter Weather

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (Jan. 20, 2025) – Due to predicted winter weather conditions and with the safety of our customers and employees in mind, all New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) offices will delay opening tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, until 10 a.m. Normal business hours will resume following this delayed start.

Operation crews remain ready to address any service impacts. NBU will continue to monitor updates from the National Weather Service and any necessary updates will be posted on the NBU website at nbutexas.com and on our social media channels. Additionally, weather resources can be found at nbutexas.com/winter-freeze-tips.

NBU customers can report an outage by calling the 24-hour Control Center at 830.629.4628 (4NBU). Additionally, customers can view electric and water outages in our service area in real time by visiting nbutexas.com/report-an-outage.

The Text Outage Notification System is an added convenience that allows NBU customers to report outages and receive text notifications regarding current situations in our service area. To enroll, text NBU to 830.629.4628. To take advantage of this service, you must have a mobile number associated with your NBU account. Learn more at nbutexas.com/text-programs.
