(New Braunfels, TX – July 26, 2024) New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) will enter the second year of its current two-year rate plan on Thursday, August 1, 2024. This will result in a rate increase across electric, water, and wastewater services for NBU customers. The impact to an average residential customer’s bill can be seen in the graphic below:

“This annual adjustment is vital for maintaining the reliability and sustainability of our utility services,” said Ryan Kelso, CEO at NBU. “It also allows us to upgrade or replace aging infrastructure that has been serving our longtime customers for decades.”
