(NEW BRAUNFELS, Tx. – Sept. 13, 2024) – New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) offices and drive-thru will be closed Friday, Sept. 27, for Comal County Fair Day. Our offices will reopen for regular business hours Monday, Sept. 30.

NBU customers can report an outage by calling the 24-hour Control Center at 830.629.4628 (4NBU). Additionally, customers can view electric and water outages in our service area in real time by visiting nbutexas.com/report-an-outage.

The Text Outage Notification System is an added convenience allowing NBU customers to report outages and receive text notifications regarding current situations in our service area. To enroll, text NBU to 830.629.4628. To take advantage of this service, you must have a mobile number associated with your NBU account. Learn more at nbutexas.com/text-programs.

Customers can make payments via the following convenient options:

  1. Online at nbutexas.com.
  2. Pay-by-Phone, 844.863.7360.
  3. Western Union Convenience Pay Service at HEB Grocery Stores throughout
    Comal County, or Arlan’s Market and Ace Cash Express, in New Braunfels.
  4. NBU Night Drop, located at 263 Main Plaza, just off of the drive-through.
