All requests to start, stop, or transfer service are due at least one NBU business day prior to the desired schedule date.

  1. Start Service

    All Customers must provide the necessary information. Along with a completed start service application, you will need to provide NBU with:

    • a copy of your driver’s license

    All service locations require a security deposit. More information can be found here.

    The following ways are available to initiate services:

    Provide an Address
    A customer discontinuing services will need to provide NBU with the proper forwarding address.

    Provide Identification
    The customer will also need to verify identification such as a driver’s license and a Social Security number to complete the disconnection request.

    A disconnection request may be submitted a few ways:

    Provide an Address
    A customer transferring service will need to provide NBU with the address for which they are requesting services. The service address will determine the services that are provided for that specific location.

    Provide Identification
    The customer will need to provide NBU with identification such as a driver’s license and a Social Security number. A deposit may be required, depending on payment history.

    If you are an existing NBU customer and in need of transferring your utility service from one location to another you can make that request a few ways:

    Need New Construction Utility Services?
