With the launch of our new Participating Solar Contractor program, NBU is excited to offer enhanced customer support to help individuals and businesses harness the power of solar energy in our region. View the highlights of the new program below!

Participating Solar Contractor List: NBU now requires contractors who intend to offer the NBU Solar Rebate to enroll in the new Participating Solar Contractor Program. Contractors must undergo annual training sessions and reviews to maintain eligibility for participation in the program and to ensure all participants comply with NBU’s program guidelines. Once registered, the solar contractors are required to uphold ethical business practices to remain on the list.

Improved Solar Rebate Process and Incentives: We now have dedicated staff to support customers throughout their solar power journey. Additionally, the NBU Solar Rebate has been adjusted to offer payouts to a broader number of solar installations.

Expanded Online Resources: Updated web resources provide customers with easy-to-navigate information and answers to solar-related questions, along with a step-by-step process of solar connection and available rebates. An online customer education course is available to guide those interested in solar energy for their home or business. Additionally, resources are available for contractors, offering clear insights into the NBU solar interconnection process.

Customer Support and Consultation: Our commitment to customer satisfaction extends beyond installation. We now offer comprehensive customer support to ensure a seamless experience from the initial inquiry to the finalization of installed solar systems.
