The Intersection of Castell Avenue and Merriweather Street to be Closed September 13 – 24, 2021 for Sewer Line Installation

(New Braunfels, TX – September 10, 2021) – New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) will close the intersection of Castell Avenue and Merriweather Street for approximately two weeks, beginning Monday, September 13, through Friday, September 24, 2021. The closure is necessary to provide public safety and to maneuver equipment while installing wastewater infrastructure.

D. Guerra Construction Company is the contractor performing the construction for this part of the
24-inch water and wastewater line project.

New Braunfels Utilities will provide up to date traffic impacts for Capital Improvement Projects such as this one on nbutexas.com/current-construction-impacts-and-road-closures, and on its Facebook and Twitter social media channels.

All work is expected to be completed as scheduled, weather permitting.
