The installation of AMI equipment does not change NBU’s approved utility rates. The cost of these upgrades is already calculated with your service availability charge. The upgrades are part of NBU’s ongoing efforts to maintain and update our water metering system and support long-term water availability 

Customers will also have access to more timely usage information, providing additional tools to understand and manage their consumption and provide possible leak notification.
