Detected contaminants that remain below regulatory limits do not pose a health concern. The report explains what each result means in plain language.

If a contaminant is detected above a regulatory limit, we work with health and regulatory authorities to take appropriate action and notify customers if required.

Water is tested throughout the year. Some tests are daily, others quarterly or annually, depending on the requirement and type of contaminant.

Water sources and supply information are detailed in our Water Supply & Portfolio section. Our supply comes from rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, reservoirs, springs, and wells.

Testing is required to ensure drinking water is safe and meets regulatory standards set by the EPA and TCEQ. It also helps us catch any changes in water quality early.
